Download the GAJA app from the Google Play Store or App Store. Open the app, tap "Register", enter your active mobile number, verify the OTP code sent via SMS, then complete your personal details (name, national ID number, date of birth). Your Basic GAJA account is immediately activated and ready to use.

GAJA balance can be topped up via: bank Virtual Accounts (BCA, Mandiri, BNI, BRI), inter-bank transfers, convenience stores (Alfamart, Indomaret), and mobile banking. The balance is credited in real-time once the payment is confirmed.

QRIS payments at merchants are free for users. Fees may apply for certain services such as transfers to other bank accounts or PPOB product purchases. Fee information is always displayed transparently before you confirm a transaction.

Open the GAJA app, tap the "Pay" button or the QR scan icon on the home screen. Point your camera at the merchant's QRIS code. Enter the payment amount if required, review the transaction summary, then confirm with your GAJA PIN. Payment is completed in seconds.

GAJA is supervised by Bank Indonesia and uses industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) to protect transaction data. Every transaction is secured by a 6-digit PIN, and OTP verification is available for additional protection. Real-time notifications are sent to your registered number for every account activity.

On the login page or Profile menu, select "Forgot PIN". Enter your registered mobile number, verify the OTP code sent via SMS, then create a new 6-digit PIN. Make sure your new PIN is easy to remember but not easy for others to guess.

A Basic account has a balance limit of up to Rp 2 million and a monthly transaction limit of Rp 20 million. A Full Service account (after upgrading with e-KTP and selfie verification) has a balance limit of up to Rp 10 million and a monthly transaction limit of Rp 40 million, plus access to premium features.

Go to Profile > Upgrade Account. Have your electronic national ID (e-KTP) ready and complete the facial verification (selfie). The verification process is usually completed within minutes automatically. Once approved, your balance and transaction limits are increased automatically.

If your balance was deducted but the transaction failed, the balance will be automatically refunded within 1×24 hours. If the balance has not been returned after 24 hours, contact GAJA Customer Care via email at hello@gaja.id or by phone at (021) 2918 6667, and include proof of the transaction (screenshot of notification or reference number).
